Psalm 25 is YAHSHUA confessing our sins as His own and also pleading His innocence

Psalm 25 is YAHSHUA speaking to YAH about His innocence and also confessing our sins as His own as He took our sins upon Himself on the cross. He was made our sins for us that we might become the Righteousness of YAH in Him. Think Isaiah 53 as you read Psalm 25.

Isaiah 53:4 Surely He has borne our infirmities, and carried our sorrows; yet we esteemed Him stricken, struck of ‘Elohiym, and afflicted.5 But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was on Him; and with His stripes we are healed. 6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned everyone to his own way; and YHVH has laid on Him the iniquity of us all.

So He confessed our sins as His own while also pleading His innocence and integrity. In fact Hebrews tells us He was made perfect through what He suffered for us. Truly He was the Sacrificial Lamb of YAH taking away the sins of the world through His death. He pleaded to be raised because of His righteousness in obeying the Law by giving His life to save us.

Psalm 25

By David.

(Son to Father)

25:1 To You, YHVH, do I lift up My soul.

25:2 My ‘Elohiym, I have trusted in You.

Don’t let Me be shamed.

Don’t let My enemies triumph over Me.

25:3 Yes, no One Who waits for You shall be shamed.

they shall be shamed who deal

treacherously without cause.

25:4 Show Me Your ways, YHVH.

Teach Me Your paths.

25:5 Guide Me in Your truth, and teach Me,

For You are the ‘Elohiym of My salvation,

I wait for You all day long.

25:6 YHVH, remember Your compassion and Your mercy,

for they are from old times.

(Son took believer’s sins on Himself and confessed them as His own)

25:7 Don’t remember the sins of My youth,

nor My transgressions.

Remember Me according to Your mercy,

for Your goodness’ sake. YHVH.

(Son about Father)

25:8 Good and Upright is YHVH,

therefore He will instruct sinners in the way.

25:9 He will guide the meek in justice.

He will teach the meek His way.

25:10 All the paths of YHVH are mercy and truth

to such as keep His covenant and His testimonies.

(Son asks Father for forgiveness of our sins as if His own)

25:11 For Your Name’s sake, YHVH,

pardon My iniquity, for it is great.

25:12 What Man is He Who fears YHVH?

He shall instruct Him in the way that He shall choose.

25:13 His soul shall dwell at ease.

His seed shall inherit the land.

25:14 The friendship of YHVH is with those who fear Him.

(YAHSHUA is YAH’s Covenant with believers)

He will show them His Covenant.

25:15 My eyes are ever on YHVH,

for He will pluck My feet out of the net.

25:16 Turn to Me, and have mercy on Me,

for I am Desolate and Afflicted.

25:17 The troubles of My heart are enlarged.

Oh bring Me out of My distresses.

25:18 Consider My affliction and My travail.

Forgive all My sins.

25:19 Consider My enemies, for they are many.

they hate Me with cruel hatred.

(Son asking Father for deliverance because of His sinlessness)

25:20 Oh keep My soul, and deliver Me.

Let Me not be disappointed,

for I take refuge in You.

25:21 Let integrity and uprightness preserve Me,

for I wait for You.

(He prays for us)

25:22 Redeem Israel, ‘Elohiym,

out all of his troubles.

YAHSHUA is also the Perfect Priest who interceded on our behalf when He took our sins on Himself as His own and asked for forgiveness.

It’s all about YAHSHUA. After all, He Glorified His Father’s Name before all creation and made an open show of the powers of darkness and defeated them by what He did. He proved forever that YAH is Love and Righteous and Just. It’s all about YAHSHUA and what He did. He deserves the Glory for perfect Righteousness and love of His Father and us. And He did it through His obedience to the Law which was His path to Resurrection Life. Faith in Him for the forgiveness of sins is our path to Life.
